Product Advice
Daily-Feed is Dafee's food supplement, while Huile 71 is Dafee's facial oil. Daily-Feed is consumed and provides plant-based ALA omega-3 from sacha inchi oil. Huile 71 is applied externally as part of an evening skincare routine. One works from within; the other is used directly on the skin.
Choose Daily-Feed if you want to incorporate a plant-based source of ALA omega-3 into your nutritional routine. Choose Huile 71 if you are looking for a facial oil for dry, uncomfortable or lipid-depleted skin. If both needs are relevant to you, the two products can be used as part of the same routine.
Yes. Daily-Feed is consumed as a food supplement, while Huile 71 is applied topically. They are designed for different purposes and using one does not replace the other.
Daily-Feed
Daily-Feed is Dafee's liquid food supplement based on sacha inchi oil, a plant oil naturally rich in ALA, or alpha-linolenic acid. ALA is an essential plant-based omega-3 fatty acid that must be obtained through the diet.
Daily-Feed provides ALA — alpha-linolenic acid — the essential omega-3 fatty acid found in plants. ALA is different from EPA and DHA, which are found predominantly in marine and algal sources. For a deeper explanation of the different types of omega-3, visit Dafeepedia.
The ALA in Daily-Feed contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 2 g of ALA. Daily-Feed is a food supplement and is intended to complement a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. It is not a medicine or a treatment for high cholesterol.
Take the recommended daily dose indicated on the product label. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Daily-Feed can be incorporated into your regular daily routine. Consistency is more important than taking it at a particular time of day. Follow the directions provided on the product label.
Because sacha inchi is naturally an oil — and we chose to keep it that way. Omega-3-rich oils are naturally sensitive to oxidation. Capsules can help protect an oil, but they also prevent you from readily seeing, smelling or tasting what is inside. Daily-Feed keeps sacha inchi in liquid form and contains added vitamin E, an antioxidant that helps protect the oil from oxidation. For Dafee, the liquid format is about simplicity, transparency and keeping the oil close to its natural form — not about claiming that liquid is inherently superior to capsules.
Vitamin E is an antioxidant. Daily-Feed contains vitamin E to help protect the oil's polyunsaturated fatty acids from oxidation.
No. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
No. Daily-Feed is a food supplement, not a medicine, and must not replace treatment prescribed by a healthcare professional. Never stop or change prescribed cholesterol medication without medical advice.
If you take prescription medication, have a diagnosed medical condition or use several supplements together, speak with your doctor or pharmacist before introducing Daily-Feed.
Dafee does not make a blanket safety claim for Daily-Feed during pregnancy or breastfeeding. If you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding, speak with your doctor, pharmacist or midwife before taking the product.
Huile 71
Huile 71 is Dafee’s lipid facial oil, built around sacha inchi oil and designed to support the skin barrier, improve comfort and leave skin softer and more supple. Its formula combines sacha inchi with squalane, jojoba oil, avocado oil, vitamin E and bisabolol, with rosemary CO₂ extract helping protect the formula from oxidation. It is designed primarily for use in the evening.
Huile 71 replenishes the skin with a concentrated blend of lipids selected to support barrier function, reduce feelings of dryness and tightness, and improve softness and suppleness. Sacha inchi provides omega-3 ALA and omega-6 fatty acids; squalane, jojoba and avocado complement the lipid profile; while bisabolol helps soothe signs of discomfort. I would use “support barrier function” rather than “repair the barrier” unless we later have finished-product clinical testing.
Sacha inchi is the hero lipid of Huile 71. It is naturally rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids, including omega-3 ALA and omega-6 linoleic acid, which make it particularly interesting for dry and lipid-depleted skin. It forms the nutritional and botanical foundation of the formula, complemented by other lipids chosen for texture, comfort and stability.
Squalane is a lightweight, highly skin-compatible emollient that helps reduce feelings of tightness and gives Huile 71 its smooth, elegant finish.
Jojoba is technically a liquid wax rather than a conventional triglyceride oil. Its wax esters help improve glide, skin feel and the overall stability and elegance of the formula.
Avocado oil contributes a richer, more cushioning lipid profile and naturally contains phytosterols and other unsaponifiable components. In Huile 71, it helps reinforce the nourishing feel of the formula and improve comfort for dry or lipid-depleted skin.
Vitamin E acts primarily as an antioxidant in the formula, helping protect its unsaturated oils from oxidation. It also has established antioxidant activity when used topically, but for the FAQ I would keep the claim focused on formula protection, because that is the clearest and easiest claim to substantiate.
Bisabolol is included for its soothing properties. It helps make the formula particularly suited to skin experiencing dryness or discomfort and can help reduce the appearance of irritation.
Rosemary CO₂ extract is used as a natural antioxidant to help protect the formula’s oils from oxidation and maintain their quality over time. It is included for formula preservation, not for fragrance.
Huile 71 contains no synthetic fragrance. Its warm, woody scent comes from low levels of cedarwood and vetiver botanical oils. The scent softens quickly after application. Because these are aromatic botanical ingredients, people who are particularly sensitive to fragrance or essential oils should patch test before full facial use.
Huile 71 contains ingredients selected for comfort, including squalane and bisabolol, but it also contains low levels of cedarwood and vetiver essential oils. If your skin is highly reactive or sensitive to fragrance or essential oils, patch test before applying it to the entire face and discontinue use if persistent irritation develops.
Huile 71 is an oil, but its texture is balanced with lighter emollients such as squalane and jojoba to create a smoother, less heavy finish. Start with 5 drops. If the skin feels coated or remains very shiny, use less.
Use Huile 71 as the final step of your evening routine. After cleansing and applying any water-based serum or moisturiser, place a few drops on your fingertips and gently press them over the face and neck. There is no need to warm the oil before application.
Yes, provided your skin tolerates the combination. Apply retinoids or exfoliating acids according to their own instructions, allow them to absorb, then apply Huile 71 as the final lipid step. If irritation develops, reduce the frequency of the active product rather than simply applying more oil.
Ingredients & Sourcing
Sacha inchi oil is pressed from the seeds of Plukenetia volubilis, a plant native to tropical South America. It is naturally rich in unsaturated fatty acids, including ALA omega-3 and linoleic acid omega-6. For the deeper science, history and composition of sacha inchi, visit Dafeepedia.
Because its distinctive fatty-acid profile makes it relevant to both nutrition and skincare. In Daily-Feed, sacha inchi provides plant-based ALA omega-3. In Huile 71, its lipid profile makes it particularly interesting for dry and lipid-depleted skin.
Yes. Dafee uses cold-pressed sacha inchi oil, extracted mechanically without the intensive refining processes used for many conventional oils.
No. Daily-Feed obtains its omega-3 from sacha inchi, a plant source of ALA, rather than from fish oil.
Yes. Both Daily-Feed and Huile 71 are vegan and contain no animal-derived ingredients.
Yes. Dafee tests its products according to their intended use. Huile 71 has been dermatologically tested.
Sustainability & Packaging
Dafee focuses on specific, verifiable choices rather than broad environmental claims. Both Daily-Feed and Huile 71 use glass primary packaging and FSC-certified carton cylinders. We aim to use packaging that protects the product, meets regulatory requirements and uses responsibly sourced materials where possible.
Both products use glass bottles with FSC-certified carton cylinder secondary packaging. The glass bottle and carton cylinder can be separated for disposal. Recycling instructions for closures, pipettes, labels and other components depend on the local recycling system.
Both Daily-Feed and Huile 71 are presented in FSC-certified carton cylinders. The secondary packaging helps protect the glass bottle during storage and transport, provides space for required product information, and helps preserve the integrity of the product. Our packaging supplier holds FSC Chain of Custody certification covering paper tubes and paper cans.
